INDOJOB — Your Gateway to Government Jobs in India

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or registering on IndoJob ("Website"), operated by a solo independent developer ("We," "Us," "Our," or "IndoJob"), you ("User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations of India. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of this Website.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and IndoJob. Your continued use of the Website after any modification to these Terms shall constitute your acceptance of such modifications.

2. About IndoJob – Nature of Service

2.1 What IndoJob Is

IndoJob is a free-to-use job aggregation and notification platform that consolidates publicly available government job listings (Sarkari Naukri) for informational and reference purposes only. We:

  • Aggregate and display job listings sourced from third-party websites, including but not limited to SarkariResult.com, FreeJobAlert.com, and similar aggregator portals;
  • Do not recruit, hire, or place candidates on behalf of any government department, ministry, PSU, or employer;
  • Do not host original job notifications issued by the Government of India, State Governments, or any statutory body;
  • Are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting as a representative of any government authority.

2.2 Data Chain Disclosure

You expressly acknowledge and understand that job data displayed on IndoJob passes through multiple intermediary layers:

  • Level 1 – Source: Official government portals (e.g., upsc.gov.in, ssc.nic.in, ncs.gov.in, railway recruitment boards, etc.)
  • Level 2 – Third-party aggregators: Websites such as SarkariResult.com, FreeJobAlert.com, rojgarresult.com, etc., which collect and republish government notifications.
  • Level 3 – IndoJob: We collect and display data from the sources in Level 2.

Because of this multi-layered sourcing, IndoJob cannot guarantee, verify, or be held responsible for the accuracy, completeness, currency, or authenticity of any job listing displayed on the Website.

3. Disclaimer of Liability — Please Read Carefully

3.1 No Warranty on Job Listings

All job listings, notifications, vacancy details, last dates, eligibility criteria, fee information, exam dates, and any other information displayed on IndoJob are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

3.2 No Liability for Inaccurate or Fake Listings

IndoJob and its sole developer shall not be liable, under any circumstances, for:

  • Inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, or fake job listings appearing on the Website;
  • Any financial loss, including but not limited to application fees paid, coaching fees incurred, or travel costs borne, arising from reliance on information displayed on IndoJob;
  • Any loss of opportunity, including but not limited to missed application deadlines, incorrect eligibility information, or cancelled vacancies;
  • Any personal, physical, or health-related harm arising from reliance on any listing displayed on the Website;
  • Any fraud, phishing, or scam perpetrated by third parties using job information from this Website;
  • Any errors, omissions, or misrepresentations introduced by upstream data sources (third-party aggregators or government portals).

3.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, IndoJob's total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Website, regardless of the form of action, shall not exceed Indian Rupees One Hundred (INR 100). This limitation applies whether the liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other theory, even if IndoJob has been advised of the possibility of such damage.

3.4 Force Majeure

IndoJob shall not be held responsible for disruption, unavailability of listings, or data errors caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including government portal downtime, third-party website changes, API modifications, internet outages, or acts of God.

4. Application Redirection Policy

4.1 Always Apply on Official Portals

IndoJob is a listing and notification service only. We DO NOT accept applications on behalf of any government employer. When a User wishes to apply for any job listed on IndoJob:

  • The User will be redirected to the official government portal or the original recruitment website;
  • The User must complete their application entirely on the official government portal;
  • IndoJob does not collect, process, transmit, or store any application forms, application fees, educational documents, or identity documents submitted to government employers.

4.2 Responsibility Upon Redirection

Once a User clicks an outbound link and is redirected away from IndoJob, the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and data practices of the destination website govern that interaction. IndoJob accepts no responsibility for the content, security, uptime, or data handling of external websites to which we link.

4.3 Verify Before You Apply

  • Cross-verify all job details (vacancy count, eligibility, last date, fee, exam schedule) on the official government website before applying;
  • Check the official employment notification / advertisement (PDF) published by the recruiting body;
  • Never pay any fees directly to IndoJob or any person claiming to be associated with IndoJob for job applications — IndoJob charges no application processing fees.

5. User Account & Registration

5.1 Account Creation

To access certain features such as job alerts and saved listings, you must create an account. During registration you provide your name, email address, and phone number. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information;
  • Maintain the security of your password and account credentials;
  • Notify IndoJob immediately of any unauthorised use of your account;
  • Ensure that you are at least 18 years of age or have parental consent to register.

5.2 Account Termination

IndoJob reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, misuse the platform, or engage in any unlawful activity through the Website.

6. Job Alert & Communication Service

By registering and enabling job alerts, you consent to receiving communications from IndoJob via email, SMS, or other digital channels. These communications will include new government job notifications, admit card and result updates, and platform updates.

You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in emails or by contacting us at contact@indojob.in. Communications comply with the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) regulations and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

7. Course and Paid Content

7.1 Nature of Courses

IndoJob may offer paid online courses, study materials, mock tests, and other educational content ("Courses") designed to assist users in preparing for government examinations.

7.2 No Guarantee of Employment

The purchase or completion of any Course on IndoJob does not guarantee selection or appointment to any government position, passing any examination, or any particular score, rank, or result in any competitive examination.

7.3 Payment & Refunds

All Course payments are processed through third-party payment gateways. Refund requests must be made within 7 (seven) calendar days of purchase, provided you have not accessed more than 20% of the Course content.

7.4 Intellectual Property of Courses

All Course content is the intellectual property of IndoJob or its licensed content partners. Users are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to access Course content. Downloading, redistributing, reselling, or sharing Course content is strictly prohibited.

8. Intellectual Property

The IndoJob name, logo, website design, and any original content created by IndoJob are protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999 of India. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works based on IndoJob's original content without prior written consent. Scraping, automated extraction, or bulk downloading of data from IndoJob is strictly prohibited.

9. Prohibited User Conduct

By using IndoJob, you agree NOT to:

  • Post, share, or transmit any false, misleading, fraudulent, or defamatory content;
  • Impersonate any government body, recruiter, or IndoJob personnel;
  • Use automated bots, scrapers, or crawlers to extract data from the Website;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to IndoJob's systems, servers, or databases;
  • Use IndoJob for phishing, scamming, or any fraudulent recruitment scheme;
  • Violate any applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

IndoJob collects your name, email address, and phone number for account management, job alerts, and course services. IndoJob is committed to compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) of India. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data by contacting contact@indojob.in.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless IndoJob, its sole developer, affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Website, your violation of these Terms, or your breach of any applicable Indian law or regulation.

12. Third-Party Links and External Websites

IndoJob contains links to external websites including official government portals and third-party aggregators. These links are provided for user convenience only. IndoJob has no control over the content, privacy practices, or availability of these external sites and is not liable for any harm, loss, or damage arising from your use of external sites.

13. Modifications to Terms and Service

IndoJob reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. For material changes, we will endeavour to notify registered users via email at least 7 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

14.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Applicable laws include the Information Technology Act, 2000; the Consumer Protection Act, 2019; the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023; the Indian Contract Act, 1872; and the Copyright Act, 1957.

14.2 Jurisdiction

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of IndoJob shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in India.

14.3 Dispute Resolution

Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute by contacting IndoJob at contact@indojob.in. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days of written notice, either party may pursue legal remedies.

15. Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, IndoJob designates the following Grievance Officer:

16. Miscellaneous

  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and IndoJob with respect to your use of the Website.
  • Waiver: IndoJob's failure to enforce any right or provision in these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
  • Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without IndoJob's prior written consent.
  • Language: These Terms are written in English. In the event of any conflict between a translated version and the English version, the English version shall prevail.
